Run the full app yourself

To use the full capabilities of Scientific Copilot (including autonomous experiments and private datasets), host it on your own hardware using Docker Compose.

Install Docker and, if applicable, the NVIDIA Container Toolkit.
Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/VivekJJadav/scientific-copilot.git
Copy .env.example to .env and configure your credentials.
Start PostgreSQL: docker-compose up -d db
Apply migrations: alembic upgrade head
Start Ollama and the API: docker-compose up -d backend ollama
Access the full suite at http://localhost:3000.
